New Saturday workout begins on Feb. 11, 2006!
A new workout called the "Meat-Grinder" has been added for those who are in the military (or going in).
Yes, you can bring your civilian buddies if you want.
This will a 2 hour training session that will include work with weights, kettlebells, medicine balls, sledge hammers, sandbags, ropes, etc.and will have an extra emphasis on team and buddy exercises.
I understand that the guys from the Seal Quest, in Clearwater, will be coming down. That will really make it interesting and challenging since they are already being trained by Navy SEAL, Kory Knowles.
So come out and train with us, or come and watch.
Bring some friends with you.
See you there!

CrossFitters invited by Navy SEAL Recruiter
We have had the extreme honor of being invited to
workout with candidates for the Navy SEALs, by their
Recruiter, Kory Knowles.
I know that three kinds of responses will come in:
1) "I can't do it, it's too tough.
Those guys are Superhuman!"
Just a thought:
Isn't that what some of us thought about CrossFit at first?
2) " I'll do it, I can handle anything!"
Just a thought: Without preparaion, that has gotten some of us in some bad situations.
3) "It is way beyond me now, but I'll diligently train for it, and I will succeed."
Here's my main thought:
I'll go for Option #3, how about you?
If you're serious, then come on.

CrossFit Gulf Coast will help local recruiters
We recently had the honor of being contacted by the Navy SEAL Recruiter regarding training candidates for their program.
As veterans ourselves, as well as trainers, this is
great!
Superior conditioning is a vital asset for today's warriors.
We can and WILL help these guys get in top shape!!!
